The Yummy Cook is the ultimate cooking helper! We've put together everything that we could possibly think of into one app to make your home-cooked meals even more delicious and so much easier to prepare.
The Yummy Cook lets you browse and search for recipes from top recipe search websites and lets you add a your own linked website. (Tip: You can enter your personal wikisite or website if you currently keep your recipes online.) From there, you can save your favorite recipes to The Yummy Cook to view or even email them out later.
The Yummy Cook even has a super intuitive, super easy grocery list keeper, THREE cooking timers that can run simultaneously, and even a grocery market locator.

Yummy Cook's Story:
As iPhone developers we enjoy our iPhones and we're constantly looking for ways for the iPhone to improve our lives. Before Yummy Cook, we kept our laptops beside us in the kitchen to look at recipes from our favorite food websites. We wanted to use our iPhones, but the laptop was easier. Why? Because our computer wouldn't shut off and we could save our favorite recipes on our personal webpage. With these things in mind, we set out on a mission to replace our laptops with our iPhones in the kitchen. We reasoned that if these issues were addressed, surely, the iPhone should be easier to cook with than our computers!
We spent weeks pulling together the necessary pieces. We knew the app should keep the iPhone screen on and not shut off so we disabled the autoshutoff (we didn't enjoy how the iPhone's screen would shut off in the middle of our food-prep). And we added the ability to save our favorite recipe bookmarks inside the app and categorize them according to Main Dishes, Sides, Appetizers, Desserts.
We could have stopped there, but we wanted our app to be even more useful and helpful. So we added multiple timers that we could run simultaneously. Then, we added a super-simple grocery list organizer to quickly jot down items we might need for our recipes. In it, we made it so that you can group items into categories at a touch of a button to make shopping a breeze. It's fast, useful and simple.
Finally, we added a grocery market locator to pull up nearby markets for quick shopping. The result? We've created an app that brings the iPhone into our kitchen! It's finally easier for us to use our iPhones now while cooking than our notebooks computers. And now as iPhone developers, we're sharing the joy with you.
