Sunday 8th October 2017, sees the start of the 37th GITEX Technology Week in Dubai, and Appspace will be there demonstrating some very cool stuff.

LG Commercial Displays (Hall 6, Booth #MAC6-4)
LG, Cisco, and Appspace bring you a live demonstration of an in-room digital signage and video calling integration. This solution uses Cisco Spark, and the Appspace App for LG webOS enabled commercial displays. This is the first time that the Appspace App + LG webOS + Cisco Spark solution has been demonstrated publicly.

The configuration uses 2x LG 55″ screens, running digital signage channels from Appspace, and a Cisco Spark Room Kit for video calling. GITEX visitors can browse Cisco, LG, and Appspace content before making a video call directly to the Cisco booth. Social content is delivered in real-time thanks to Appsace + Social Media card by Seenspire. Additional, touch-enabled 55″ displays allow visitors to interact with the same content on the LG booth.

Cisco Systems (Zabeel Hall, Booth #Z-B40)
The Appspace App delivers the same interactive content and video calling experience on a 2x LG 55″ display setup, while a 2x LG 49″ display setup uses the Cisco Spark Room Kit Plus quad camera for wider and deeper viewing angle for video calling. Again, this is the first time that the Appspace App + LG webOS + Cisco Spark solution has been demonstrated publicly.
Intel (Zabeel Hall, Booth #Z-B20)
Intel will be showcasing two great examples of Appspace technology integrations at GITEX 2017, on the Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority booth.
Lift and Learn
The first solution mixes digital signage and beacon technology. Pick up an Intel NUC and find out more about it on a 55″ display. However, unlike other L&L solutions in the market, this display is touch-enabled. So, delve into technical specs, images, and videos with the power of your fingertips. This solution is powered by Intel’s Windows 10 NUC media player.
Interactive kiosks with video calling
Appspace is working with Intel on several smart city initiatives for Dubai, this solution uses the Appspace App in kiosk view browse information channels and make video calls.
